On October 19, 2021 ESIM Chemicals has completed the sale of its IM business unit to the US company Vertellus. From now on, it will focus on the development and production ofspeciality chemical products. \u201cWe are focusing the company on a growth market by specialising in the custom-manufacturing business. We aim to further expand our leading international market position in the years to come with this strategic realignment,\u201d says Dr. Frank Wegener, CEO of ESIM Chemicals, about these ambitious plans. The company, based in the Linz Chemical Park, is already one of the top three suppliers of highly complex molecules for a wide range of applications worldwide. Internationally successful: a wide range of new projects ESIM Chemicals is a partner to customers from the agrochemical sector, the industrial sector and manufacturers of food, feed and pharmaceuticals, to name but a few.
